The Bible (part 2 )

The King James Bible, as well as her many interpretations, exist in the world of religion as the foundational instruction book to so many . . . she has brought life, guidance and freedom to so many . . .  she is the source for deeper meaning in this chaotic world to so many, that my goal here is not to expose her as a skeptic, but to reveal her poetic beauty, wisdom, and understanding to anybody willing to drop the scorn associated with her followers and open their minds to the magic of the book itself.

You can read a complete treatise of the Bible here . . . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bible

Forty five years ago, after years in hippiedom searching for a deeper meaning to life, I picked up the Holy Bible and decided to be a Christian.

Straight away I was told I needed interpretation by one of God’s chosen ministers in order to understand it. Considering myself illiterate, I freely gave up my intuitive mind to the well meaning, but many times misleading, ministers and teachers of the Christian faith and soon found myself stuck in a quagmire of doctrines and dogmas coming from every direction on the spiritual compass.

WOW! . . . and I thought it would be easy to just pick up a bible, read it and . . . oh no! The further I looked into things the foggier they became. I learned there was a chain of command just as entrenched in the spiritual church as it was in the physical army I once served.

But, I accepted it all and became a full blown soldier in the army of God. The bible was my weapon, Satan was my enemy, and I . . . well, I pretended to be a born again soldier and all that, but I was really just another phony follower of a self professed prophet named Sam Fife. Through his ministry I learned what the bible said, I learned how to act, I learned to play the part I’d chosen in his ‘first fruits company’ and I became a full fledged member of the communal living ‘family of God’ with all the benefits and promises that choice implied.

I soon learned it was one thing to go to church a couple days a week, but quite another to live 24/7’s on one of Sams farms among a gaggle of other true believers, some wonderful, some not so wonderful, all trapped in the human condition (no matter how hard they tried to be spiritual, wonderful, and wise)

The bible was never far from anyone’s grasp. We studied it together, as well as separately addinfinausium, the entire time I lived on the farm. It was called the ‘Word’ . . . and, believe me, I knew the Word . . .  (at least I thought I did anyway)

That was a quick resume.

Question is: If I had never taken even one divinity course, how can I be so arrogant to write about this stuff in the first place? Well, that’s a good question, I’ll tell you why.

First, I have no desire to lift myself into any position other than the one I now possess . . . that being one of interest concerning the degradation of what I believe to be a really good HISTORICAL read. . . . probably one of the best peeks into the ancient history of the middle east there is.

When it comes to God and religion, the compilation of writings from so many that all seem to be pointing in the same direction should alone, cause one to sit up and take notice. Sure allegory abounds, but then so does historical fact. The story of the Middle East concerning the Arab and the Jew cannot be complete without it.

I don’t want to see all that knowledge and wisdom gained from it go to waste. People today are IMO even more in need of a spiritual anchor than they were back in the days of Moses and Jesus. The bible can help.

The church has obviously failed them by choking to death in its own bullshit, but the biblical roots are still there and if you dig a bit on your own you may just strike God . . . that’s where He is . . . in the minds of Moses, David, Isiah and the prophets, and New Testament apostles and all the rest who wrote their stories down on parchment and sought to know the unknowable.

There’s gold here, but you must dig for it with a free and open mind. You must read those empty spaces between the lines. They are filled with types and shadows, of metaphor and imagination, and lots and lots of wisdom if one knows how to find it. Today, although held captive to all sorts of religious nonsense, it still has the power and the wisdom of old Solomon. Be careful not to throw out the baby with the bath water.

The Bible

After many years of wandering in Eastern thought I have decided it is time to re-visit what I once feared to doubt or even to question . . . the Holy Bible.

I’ve been away long enough to no longer believe in the stuff of Christianity as taught by the self possessed, educated men and women of the cloth who have twisted and tainted all that which is freely open to all of us. Those who have instilled, instead of love, mercy, and grace . . . fear, hopelessness and Hell. Those who have used the bible as a battering ram to conformity and control rather than what it has always been . . . the writings of inspired and ancient men attempting to shed light upon the mysteries of God and this place we call home.

Today, in the times of advanced technology, the bible is quickly growing out of favor because everything is changing to meet the times except it. That means that all that wisdom and understanding is lying dormant.

Read on if you dare. I am going to question a system that I believe to be in a rut millennia deep and if allowed to remain so, will one day cease to be relevant at all . . .  something it does not deserve.

I will share what I know, and what I have thought and experienced, but I gotta tell you I am just a self-taught slob who has never been to preacher school and hold no affiliation to any church or denomination. But I have studied, studied, and more studied the bible, and at one time practically knew the thing by heart.

After that just keep an open mind and read the bible and try to understand the hidden messages within it for yourself. Make this book your own, you’ll be glad one day that you did. There is a magic here like no other book, a freedom that even idiots like Kenneth Copeland and his ilk can’t destroy. . . . lets start with responsibility.

***

What greater freedom in life could we have than to realize that we alone are responsible for ourselves? No magic, no tricks, no inside track to perfection . . . and no savior.

The latter is important because instead of understanding and utilizing the teachings of Christ we have chosen to avoid all that and just worship his name and rely upon his sacrifice to save us.

No doubt, it does feel good not to have to rely upon ourselves. . . granted, “believe in me and go to heaven” is far more palatable than ” I am responsible for my choices and according to those choices that I make I either receive a blessing . . . or I receive a cursing.”

There is a biblical law called ‘sowing and reaping’ (or karma) that follows every decision, every choice, and every thought we act upon. This life is governed in such a way that every person, regardless of religious affiliation, is absolutely, judgmentally, equal when it comes to living it.

Years ago I was a full bore Christian. As somewhat of a bad actor I was extremely joyful the day I brought Jesus Christ into my life. I was free from all my past sinning. I was free from Hell and on my way to Heaven. WHAT A RUSH! I had just received a get-out-of-prison card and now I could drop all the sinning and live a holy life for Jesus.

After about seven years of church, and even a couple living 24/7’s in a Christian commune I began to realize that although we all worshiped Jesus and promoted ourselves as being a ‘special’ called out people . . . we were in reality no different than those unbelievers I worked with who lived outside the gate, BUT those guys were not holy like me. They drank, cussed, smoked pot, and all that stuff, but when I overlooked the sins and took a look at the sinners, I found I had more in common with them than I did with the people I lived with.

It’s not that I didn’t like those people I lived with. I actually loved a few of them. I think because of doctrinal teachings and a strange code of conduct we just couldn’t be ourselves. There was always a phony pretentiousness that got in the way.

OK, I said all that to say this: One day I was walking alone in the hills surrounding the farm and I began to think religious thoughts like always, but this time it was different . . . I realized that for all that time in the Christian religion . . . I had been a phony . . . I said all the right things, read all the right books, studied the bible till my eyes bled, and spoke to the best of my ability, the language of a good Christian. BUT . . . I was phony clean through and I knew it.

That day was the beginning of the end to my tour upon this planet as a holier than thou born again Christian. I wanted to go back to the dark side and get drunk with my old army buddies, I heard the clarion call of my hippie girl friends . . . I wanted to get high and have fun once again like I used to.

It wasn’t too long after that, that I left the commune and all those, in spite of the religious nonsense, I loved dearly.

After seven years or so in the Christian community, all I took with me were only a few words: You want to be free?  . . . You must realize in a real way that YOU are responsible for your actions in this life. . . . period.

That all happened in the late sixties . . . and to this day some 40 years later those words are still guiding me through this life. Be kind . . . empathetic . . . give a blessing to everybody you come in contact with . . . forget about being perfect, you ain’t. Not even close. . . And above all else realize that you are responsible for your actions and you will suffer or enjoy the fruits of all of them.

My heaven is not out there somewhere after I’m dead . . . my heaven is HERE right now on this planet.

This is the gift God gave to all of us . . .  and this ecological nightmare is the thanks that He/She/It gets for creating it. I no longer have all the answers. I no longer quote scripture, or get caught up in the jargon of the religious. And when it comes to “Father forgive them, for they know what they do?” We DO know what we are doing . . . ..and are about to pay a karmic debt larger and more intense than we will be able to bear.

As designated stewards this planet was created to be our Heaven. We are instead creating our Heaven into our Hell.

Don’t believe it? Look around.

Knowing

Once upon a time, many years ago, I dropped a tab of acid and had my awakening. Years later I realized I’d never had my awakening at all . . . .

Then I found Jesus and the church and had my true awakening. Years later I realized I’d never had my awakening at all . . . .

Then I read and studied spiritual things and teachings until the day my head was so full of understanding that I finally realized I’d had my awakening. Years later, though I’d sat at the feet of the best and the brightest spiritual teachers, I realized I actually never had awakened at all . . . .

Today, as I sit before my fire and contemplate on all the knowledge and understandings I have acquired from my many encounters with the spiritual life, I am beginning to realize that ALL that stuff, upon my death, will remain here in my ego driven head because the only things I can take with me are the things I have given away . . . the simple acts of kindness and love, mercy and grace that I have shown upon all those I came into contact with . . . .

Because the truth is THOSE are the fruits of our spiritual labor and we cannot fake our way onto a higher plane by spouting spiritual nonsense, or name dropping our favorite savior teacher, or any other way. . . .

In that next world, on that next plateau . . . it’s not about what you KNOW . . . it’s about who you ARE.

Who you pretend to be will get you far on this planet . . . who you really are is all that counts once the veil has lifted and the fog has shifted . . . . .it’s important to know that.

The White Room

What if, when I die to my present physical life, I pass on over to the other side only to find myself standing alone in a pure white and vibrating void . . . a void that is soon transformed into a reality perfectly suited to the vibration I carried in my conscience while here on earth?

With no individual brain to manipulate, no way to phony myself up, no false faces, or uniforms, or ways to cover up my true nature . . . my true nature becomes the (post physical) reality of who I truly am.

No Jesus or Mohammed or any other savior will be there to defend me, no righteous God to condemn me, no flock of virgins to please me, no street of gold or a self filling bottle of wine . . . nothing. . . but a creation of my own making.

I would then realize (if I chose to escape my new reality) that I should have done the job that was set before me while in the physical body, but with all the distractions confronting me, I didn’t take the time to do it.

Now, I realize my only hope will be to return again into that realm of time and space for yet another go around as an individual entity . . .

Whats in YOUR wallet? . . . . Will you be content in your new, (after death) reality? Is this a scary proposition to you? Now’s the time to do something about it. Once on the other side you may have to live for a long time within the parameters you have set for yourself, among souls just like your greedy, selfish, self centered, little self.

Personally I have a LOT of homework to do . . .

Break The Matrix (Chapter Two)

Choke Points

Although this writing may at first sound like just another expose of conspiracies, I can assure you it is not. Yes, the globalists are guilty of fomenting many dark conspiracies on their way to the top, but they are proud of what they are doing and openly admit to doing it. They see themselves and their one world government as the only hope for mankind and believe completely in the philosophy that ‘the end justifies the means’. . . that means they are willing to do whatever it takes to further their agenda to have total control and domination over us. If these are conspiracies, they are being fomented in broad daylight.

David Rockefeller, a member of one of the founding families of the globalist movement said recently in his autobiography that:

“For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”

He continues on: “The anti-Rockefeller focus of these otherwise incompatible political positions owes much to Populism. ‘Populists’ believe in conspiracies, and one of the most enduring is that a secret group of international bankers and capitalists, and their minions, control the world’s economy. Because of my name and prominence as the head of the Chase for many years, I have earned the distinction of ‘conspirator in chief’ from some of these people.

Populists and isolationists ignore the tangible benefits that have resulted from our active international role during the past half-century. Not only was the very real threat posed by Soviet Communism overcome, but there have been fundamental improvements in societies around the world, particularly in the United States, as a result of global trade, improved communications, and the heightened interaction of people from different cultures. Populists rarely mention these positive consequences, nor can they cogently explain how they would have sustained American economic growth and the expansion of our political power without them.” . . . From Rockefeller’s “Memoirs”.

That pretty much says it all. I believe they feel that the masses of humanity (us) are just too dumb to get out of our own way, and left to ourselves we will continue to run in circles biting on our tails for millennia to come . . . and I gotta say, can you blame them for thinking that way? We have a very bad track record when it comes to living in peace with our neighbors.

On paper I actually agree with the ‘one world’ philosophy, but I see nothing less than complete totalitarianism as their final answer. They be the overlords . . . we be the worker bees. They live as gods atop the mountain . . . we starve and sweat in the valleys below.

The problem is we ALL share the same basic nature. Each and every time those at the top create an empire, it is still being led and governed by human beings, and because of that distinction, when have they ever panned out long term? . . . never. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely . . . that’s just the way it is.

Personally I don’t believe we have much of a choice in the matter anymore and haven’t for many years. They have now cunningly solidified their power beyond rebellion. Today in America they have complete control over media, financial system, industry/corporations, political machines and military. Their power over us is awesome. . . as is our ignorance towards realizing it.

Revolution against the industrial military complex would be suicidal. We sat on our asses for decades and ignored them as they turned our Democratic Republic into their plutocracy (government run by the wealthy). . . and now they own us. The recent Wall Street bailouts prove that point beyond a doubt. They are too big to fail without bringing down the whole economy.

They laughed at our childish threats while most of the big banking houses actually made money during the crash and after. Marching against them? . . . they don’t care, “Have fun kiddies”, they say. “We’ll enjoy watching you from our Wall Street offices.”

George Carlin said it best . . .https://youtu.be/wigDHjEwPuE

The only reason the less than 1%ers have what they have today is because they long ago convinced the rest of us that we also need what they have . . . do we?

The only realistic approach we can now take to combat them is to ignore their media and it’s propaganda, stop buying their stuff and quit allowing our children to fight their wars. It won’t be easy. Demonstrations and signs won’t get it. It will take getting off our asses and putting positive action ahead of the far easier exercise of pissing and moaning. They own the game board and make all the rules . . . we need to create a new game board, one with a built in balance point based on creativity instead of greed.

Watch this (Time Is Art) and get some ideas . . . https://youtu.be/gRGLofA3Eek

In the following writings I have some ideas I’d like to share with you about how to do just that in a way you can actually make a change for yourself and escape their matrix.

I don’t want to teach you to be a good communist . . . I don’t want to teach you to be a good democratic American. My goal here is not to bring down the established order as it has many benefits for us to hold onto. My goal here is to teach you how to free your mind and think for yourself. My goal is to teach you how to live within the established order while maintaining your individual freedom. That means you must know the enemy and understand his four main control points, religion . . . finances . . . politics . . . fear.

Breaking down one choke hold at a time let’s start with religion.

Religion:

If you were to Google the fifteen core beliefs in all major religions of the world. . . . all (on paper) sound like good, honorable ways in which to live one’s life. (but in action?) What has transpired among all the various peoples on this planet to make each believe that THEIR religion is the one true religion? How is it even possible to fight a religious war? How is it ever OK to kill a living being in the name of the Creator of that being? If man is a creature of free choice, who, what, keeps us floundering in chaos and despair?

Lastly, why is FAITH in such great demand in the first place? Faith in what . . . faith in who? What is faith anyways?

From Merriam-Webster dictionary:

a. strong belief or trust in someone or something

b. belief in the existence of God : strong religious feelings or beliefs

c. a system of religious beliefs

Does it take faith to believe in God? No, not really. Look around using the senses our creator has given us and you’ll realize that the artist of this world dwells everywhere, and within everything that lives. His glory and beauty is revealed for all to plainly see.

Open your eyes to that beauty, learn to truly see what He has made . . .

Open your ears, listen to the rhythm of the universe and the sweet melody of this planet .

Slow your gulping and allow your taste buds to fully enjoy the eating of a fresh peach . . .

Take your time to feel the vibration and softness of your lover.

Stand in the rain and experience the earthy scent of it . . .

As you do you will be communing with God and soon realize that He/She/It’s presence is everywhere. There is no need for faith to believe in a creator. He is right there in your face, as strongly as a drill instructor in boot camp. There IS need for faith to believe in a religion though, because at least half of what you are being taught has been made up.

It’s quite obvious that anybody or anything that captured our faith would control our minds and become a very powerful entity in our life. We would become “their” true believers. It’s also quite obvious that anybody or anything that captured the faith of an entire country, race, or region would have created a foundational base of power with which to rule over that country, race, or region. . . . does it not? We are the greatest . . . the chosen . . . God is on our side.

We consider ourselves responsible to proselytize our beliefs to the remainder of the planet and, as a reward, get to use their natural resources to our benefit. If that foreign country were to object and cause war, we have the right to kill them in defense of our God and our God’s country . . . and we, the chosen, are pardoned from murder.

This same scenario has played itself out many times in world history, always the same and always ending with the same results. From the first Sumerian empire to today, the religions of man, being led by lust for power and greed for goods, have kept the ball rolling and the beat going on . . . What is the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.

For the sake of this article I submit for your consideration that wise and ruthless men have used the principles of faith to place themselves as spokesman between common man and his creator. Thus, with the direct link between man and his maker broken, the church was born and the various religions created. Men bent on ruling over us became His spokesmen, chaos descended upon the earth and what we have today is a direct result of that lost personal link between man and his creator.

We bought the party line and dove down the rabbit hole to Hell. So how do we get ourselves out of this hole? How you ask? Get real. Become a part of something greater. Give up those false sounding prayers. Give up the dogma. Give up all the “I’m proud to be” nonsense.

Take in the view from the top of a mountain and begin to get real with God in your own special way. We are all individual, very powerful spirits and all have a gift that the world needs, but we must quit listening to the false prophets of (whatever) religion and learn to listen to Him directly. Reconnect the umbilical chord between you and the spirit and you will deny men the power over you and give it back to the Creator who has been waiting patiently behind the scenes for you to do so all the time.

We cannot solve this problem only through our prayers. “I am a Buddhist. I believe in praying. But humans have created this problem, and now we are asking God to solve it. It is illogical. God would say, solve it yourself because you created it in the first place.” . . . Dali Lama.

In Western Christian belief a baby is born in sin. Right off the bat the child has two strikes against him and the only hope for the kid is that before he strikes out and ends up in hell he finds personal salvation. It takes faith to believe such stuff as the very idea of a loving God doing such things goes against the grain of good common sense.

In the Eastern Zen Buddhist belief a baby is born pure and learns to be evil because of the hellishness in the world. His salvation comes from self realization. This takes faith also, but faith in oneself that he/she has the power and ability to do great things if he chooses.

I follow the Eastern Way. I believe that in the right circumstances all people are capable of committing heroic deeds, but in the wrong circumstances all people are quite capable of propagating all forms of evil upon themselves as well as their fellows.

Take war for instance. War is evil personified and yet men swarm to it like beetles skittering to a dog turd. Take an incident like 911 when the towers went down. We would have a hard time counting the heroics that took place that day as strangers died trying to save other strangers while a whole country mourned openly.

It seems humans are at their best when there is a catastrophe in the making. It behooves us all then to make good choices for ourselves as we seem to be directly affected by the circumstances we find ourselves in.

The conundrum: How can people be so good individually while at the same time be so bad corporately? How can the bank be cold and aloof as it forecloses on your home when it is filled with warmhearted individuals? How can a doctor dedicated to healing turn away a patient just because their insurance denied the claim? How could the insurance company deny said claim to begin with knowing the person would die without treatment? What’s up with this?

Fact is the corporation has become an entity far more important than the individual it was created to serve. We created these monsters out of brick and stone. We gave them names. We gave them life. We bowed down before them. We serve them. We have faith in them.

We are no different than our Aztec fathers who offered human sacrifice to the sun god upon the alter at the Great Pyramid of Tenochtitlan. How did that work for them? How’s it working for us? Time for a change don’t you think?

What would happen if we pulled the plug on this all powerful corporate god and began to manifest the greatness and the empathy we possess . . . to ourselves, to each other, as well as the Earth we live on? Wouldn’t that be a novel idea?

That simple and direct act alone would create great change in this world. That is something we can all do right now by simply taking ourselves and our families back to a time before the corporation stole our humanity.

Nobody here is advocating a jungle hut in the Amazon. We can still have our businesses. We can still have nice stuff. This could all be done simply by getting smart and putting more focus on the human being and far less on the corporation. It’s all about us, not them.

The earth is screaming for balance and we can give it to her by fighting back against the polluters and every corporate entity that refuses to take EARTH FIRST into consideration. Not by getting involved in the commercial yuppy faddy way with all its catchy slogans and PR, but by taking a real and honest effort. Stop having faith in false Wall Street gods and begin to put the earth first in everything we do.

All we really have to do is ignore the corporation and stop buying its product. Use businesses that care, deny those that don’t. The bottom line for any corporation can no longer be their profit margin.

Find the companies that believe as we do, and even if it costs a few more bucks to buy their product isn’t it worth it? . . . Humanity first! Earth first! What’s so hard about that?
